ANMW announces new JIG chairman for 2004-2005

The ANMW is pleased to announce that Terry Perry is to be the Joint Industry Group Chairman for 2004/ 2005. He succeeds Simon Marinker on 1st April 2004.
Terry has extensive newspaper and magazine industry experience. For 20 years he worked for John Menzies where he held a number of positions including Deputy Regional Director for the southern region for its wholesale arm, Menzies Distribution. He then spent four years as the Managing Director of the ANMW before joining Dawson News as Trading Director in October 2003.
During his time at the ANMW he was the association’s representative on JIG, chaired the JIG Centralised Information Group and sat on many of the JIG sub groups.
Terry said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to chair JIG on behalf of the ANMW. Considerable progress has been made by JIG during Simon Marinker’s time in office and I look forward to building on this, working with JIG members to drive and innovate the supply chain in the 21st century.”
