FODI Sub-Group
Objectives
The objective of FODI is to maximise sales of newspapers to consumers by
- Meeting the delivery needs of consumers and the retailers who supply them, supporting both home-delivered and casual sales.
- Optimising the efficiency of the supply chain.
Progress Report
Since FODI began, RDT compliance has risen from 75% to 90% and the group continues to develop efficiencies in the supply chain.
The ratio of RDTs v SDTs is now at 87% v 13% and the group will be endeavouring to reach our 90% target as quickly as possible.
The group are also re-looking at Publishers' scheduled arrival times to wholesale in an attempt to further improve efficiency.
